MystarHost Terms of Services
The Following are forbidden on our Servers:
Adult content (porn, erotic, etc)
Sorry, but we do not allow this, even if it is legal. This also applies to any advertisement that you show
on your site (it should not contain the above mentioned images) Violation of the following policies will
result in immediate termination of accounts. "Sexually Explicit Adult Content" or "Content Which
Advocates The Sexual Exploitation Of Children" or pages linking to such content is not allowed on our
Servers. In short, if it is something inappropriate for a six year old to view, it does not belong here!
Legal Adult Content is permitted on VPS & Dedicated Servers only. (But No underage, fetish, or
anything which is illegal in USA, failure to follow this rule will Terminate your account & a Legal Fees of
$50 will be levied on you.
Running online services for Shared Hosting / Reseller Accounts
For shared Hosting & Reseller Accounts, no online games, no storing private backup, no online ratings,
no streaming, no banner networks. We do not tolerate this stuff since it is killing our servers. If you want
to run any of the above then you should go for VPS or Dedicated Server.
Uploading, installing, running IRC servers/scripts, running Servers & proxies
This is monitored by us AND our datacenter. We immediately terminate accounts found to have such
scripts. Proxies, ICQ scripts, traffic redirection scripts (including any sort of downloaders, emailers,
rapidget, etc).
Running daemons and bots; initiating frequent outgoing connections
Scripts that create outgoing connections more than two times per hour and/or running for more than 30
seconds are forbidden.
Uploading insecure scripts / nulled Scripts
Shell or FTP-copy scripts without proper authorization; outdated and vulnerable scripts, nulled scripts.
File archives, file exchange
You are not allowed to use your account primarily as a file storage on shared & Reseller Accounts.
Sharing your login with a third party
You have to be the sole owner of your account.
Subdomains
Using subdomain which may confuse visitor to think that you are an official Mystarhost representative
(example: admin.mystarhost.com, www2.mystarhost.com. cpanel.mystarhost.com,
mypanel.mystarhost.com etc.).
General Rule for verification
You are not allowed to host nulled scripts/copyrighted materials/ISO/exe files, audio/video streaming
scripts and all illegal or resource consumption things. You are responsable for all your hosted
materials.Also, do not start a free webhosting company/post to host and other. If we detect once of
these your account will be terminated unexpectly and your IP will be banned! If you want to start Free
Webhosting company or post2host then buy VPS or Dedicated Server.
Browser Games: Broswer games are now not allowed as they take up too much resoruces!
Language
You can use only English and Hindi as your language for the website. Since we can't monitor other
language website for TOS violation so they are not allowed.
Disclaimer
We will not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer. We make no warranties of any
kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. We disclaims any warranty or merchantability or
fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, no deliveries, wrong
delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by us and our employees.
Backups
We take no resposibility for Backups unless you order special backup service. Though we take weeky
backups on our server and we will be more than happy to provide you the backup whenever possible
but we can't take the responsibility for the Data Loss due to any server failure (natural or unnatural
event). You have the sole responsibility to manage your Data Backups. There is a tool in CPanel for
backups and we recomend you to use it for the best advantage.
Acceptable Use Policy
In general, we allow on our hosting servers what is legal in your country and in USA and activities
which won't kill our servers.
Expressly prohibited hosting account usage:
* Proxies (including CGI proxy, PHProxy, RapidLeech, RapidKill, etc).
* Free or Paid Download Services
* Free or Paid Upload Services
* Free or Paid Email Services
* Free or Paid Image Upload Services
* Free Hosting Services
* Advertising / Selling of Medicines or Medical Items
* Promoting Abuse, Hatred, Religion, etc.
* Bulk Email / Opt-in Lists
* SPAM.
* Phishing.
* Fraud.
* Hosting torrents or Linking to Torrents.
* Hosting torrents trackers.
* Illegal music / video sites
* Linking to illegal music / video / files etc.
* Warez hosting / linking to warez.
* Pornography / Adult contents / Nudism (including Legal Adult).
* Hosting copyrighted material without proper author's permission.
* Using illegal/nulled scripts.
* Removing a script's copyright without proper permission from the author.
* File/image/video hosting.
* Hosting hacking tools.
* Cron Interval Less than 1 hours (the fastest interval is 1 hour).
* Browser-based game (flash-based game is allowed, but browser-based mmorpg is not allowed).
* No IRC bots.
* Hosting cracks, key generators or/and serial numbers or Hacking / Cracking Tutorials.
* Running background process (such as: game servers, irc servers/bots, etc.).
If you apply for the Hosting Package then that means you agree to the Terms of Services and if found
violating any of he Terms then your account will be terminated.
All above rules imply for Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS & Dedicated Servers. For VPS
& Dedicated Servers the following things are allowed :
* Using VPS/Dedicated Server for Legal Adult Content
* Using VPS/Dedicated Server for Personal (Read Legal) File Hosting purpose
* Using VPS/Dedicated Server for Free Hosting or Post2host accounts (Your members should follow
the above TOS).
If you are not sure about any point of the above TOS then please confirm with us by sending an e-mail
to support@mystarhost.com, If you order an account and forund violating our TOS then your account
will be immediately terminated and you will not be entitles for Refund.
